Terms and Conditions

By enrolling in and/or attending a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions:

Conditions of enrolment in respect to illness and preventable disease

NIDA has developed a comprehensive set of regulations that aim to minimise the risk of exposing staff, students, and clients to communicable illnesses when onsite at NIDA. By enrolling in and/or attending a course, clients agree to be bound by these conditions.

If a participant is unwell or cannot attend the class for medical reasons, they can be transferred to another class date:

  • On receipt of a doctor’s certificate
  • If no doctor’s certificate is provided the standard Cancellations and Transfer conditions (see below) will apply.

Cancellations and Transfers

Public Course Enrolments

  • Transfers to a different course type or different course date must be completed more than 14 days from the commencement of the course and will incur a $150 transfer fee.
  • Cancellations received more than 14 days from the commencement of the course will incur a forfeiture of 20% of the course fee. Cancellations or transfers between 7 and 13 days from the commencement of the course will incur a forfeiture of 50% of the course fee.
  • Cancellations or transfers within 7 days of the commencement of the course cannot be processed and will incur a forfeiture of 100% of the course fee
  • Substitutions of participants can be made at any time.
  • Should NIDA need to cancel a course a full refund will be obtainable. We accept no liability for any other costs.
  • NIDA may record this class for quality, safety and training purposes, including the ongoing training of enrolled students. All images and recordings are stored securely in NIDA digital storage. By enrolling in this class, you are agreeing to be recorded for these express purposes. NIDA will not distribute or otherwise use this recording for anything other than the aforementioned purposes without your written, express permission. Customised Courses

  • If you enrol online into a course which has been customised for your organisation, the terms and conditions pertaining to your enrolment will be agreed to on a per-contract basis in consultation with your organisation.
  • Any contract terms related to your individual enrolment will be conveyed to you directly through your employer.
  • NIDA may record this class for quality, safety and training purposes, including the ongoing training of enrolled students. All images and recordings are stored securely in NIDA digital storage. By enrolling in this class, you are agreeing to be recorded for these express purposes. NIDA will not distribute or otherwise use this recording for anything other than the aforementioned purposes without your written, express permission. Conditions of Enrolment

  • You understand and voluntarily assume all innate and obvious risks associated with the course.
  • You indemnify us against any proper claims, costs or damages arising from any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  • You agree that you have read and understood the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

Participants are not permitted to record any part, audio or visual, of their NIDA Corporate course. Any written material must not be reproduced without the prior written consent of NIDA. Doing so, is in breach of NIDA’s copyright which is protected by law.
